Tronchi glass refers to a style of hand-formed glass elements developed in mid-century Italy, most closely associated with the work of Venini on the island of Murano. The term “tronchi” (Italian for “trunks” or “logs”) describes the thick, cylindrical or faceted glass pieces that resemble cut sections of wood.
