Set of four dining chairs with figured rosewood frames and black vinyl upholstered seats and backs. Each chair features a tall, gently curved back with a tapered upholstered center panel and open spaces along either side. Shaped crest rails, slender tapered legs, and horizontal stretchers complete the frames.
The rosewood displays pronounced grain variation across the back uprights, crest rails, and seat aprons. The padded seats have rounded corners and extend slightly beyond the wooden frames.
According to the original owner these chairs were purchased through Maurice Villency in the 1960s.
